Therapy Shoes has collaborated with Australian reality TV star, Ella May Ding, to create a capsule collection of party-worthy footwear and accessories. This one-off collection consists of 5 footwear and 4 handbag styles which have all been collaboratively designed with Ella, in our Melbourne HQ. Launching nationally November 3rd 2022, the collection will be available to purchase at www.therapyshoes.com.au, as well as multiple retailers across New Zealand and Australia including Universal Store, Glue and The Iconic.

Ella May Ding is the breakthrough star from Married at First Sight Australia (MAFS), her edgy style and unapologetic attitude has earned her more than 600,000 followers on Instagram and over 60,000 on TikTok. Adored by fans across Australia and New Zealand, Ella recently launched her podcast Sit With Us, documenting relationships, reality TV and pop culture with fellow MAFS star, Domenica Calarco which debuted at number 1 on the Australian National Spotify Podcast chart. Ella’s natural flair for fashion and bold personal style is what captured the Therapy team’s attention and led to the beginning of a relationship and consequent collaboration between Therapy Shoes and Ella.

The nine-piece collection ranges from dress heels, loafers, and slides to night out bags, executed in a variety of trend colours and materials. The range is heavily inspired by the resurrection of Y2K fashion, paying homage to the colours, fun silhouettes, and youthful excess which reigned in the early 2000’s. The styles are available in a bright colour palette of electric green, hot pink and cobalt blue complemented by an ultra-femme lilac hologram and a Y2K inspired denim. Ella’s personal style focuses heavily on versatility and selecting pieces which can transcend from day to night and the collection was designed with this at the forefront.

“When designing this collection I wanted a balance of day-to-night accessories. I love a splash of vibrant colour with my outfits and being able to mix and match my looks for any occasion.”

The collaboration is Ella’s first fashion partnership since she announced that she will be joining the cast of Made In Chelsea UK. As a driving force in both the social media and reality television space, this collaboration comes at a high point in Ella’s career and helps to cement Therapy Shoes as a leader in the digital fashion space.
